Scratch Programming
Scratch Programming
Scratch is a visual programming language that allows kids to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations.
The peculiarity of Scratch is that it is a visual-based programming language. This means that children learn how to code with colorful and interesting blocks rather than complex programming codes. This makes Scratch an especially intuitive, simple, and fun programming language to learn.
In Engineering, we do not aim to teach a child to work in the Scratch program. This is not an end. Scratch is indeed a learning language and learning environment for creating programs and games, it is not used in real development, but this does not mean that it should be abandoned immediately. As an adult, the syntax of a programming language (the words in which code is written) is learned in three days of hard immersion. At the age of a teenager, you can learn the syntax of a language in a few years. Why overcomplicate this experience at the very beginning? Especially if the young man has not even decided yet whether he really wants to become a programmer.
In case of checking your interests and easy knowledge of algorithmic concepts, our courses were invented. They are designed to make learning about programming a smooth and fun experience. If the child can master the language of instruction and create something useful in it, if he retains motivation for this area of activity, if he hits the ceiling of the language of instruction and wants to go further and higher, then it’s worth switching to serious languages.
