Digital Art

Digital art is based on the use of information computer technologies, the result is works of art in digital form. First of all, we will learn to work in vector and raster graphics programs, computer animation.

Vector graphics is a way of representing objects and images based on a mathematical description of elementary geometric objects. Images are composed of points, lines, circles, polygons.

Raster graphics – an image representing a grid of pixels, that is, coloured dots on a monitor, paper and other display devices. Raster graphics allow you to create a drawing of almost any complexity – this is its difference from vector graphics, where it is impossible to accurately convey the effect of transition from one colour to another without loss in file size. It is raster graphics that are now the most common and used almost everywhere: from small icons to posters.
